Defending Copa del Rey champions Real Madrid will be looking to extend their winning run in all competitions to 10 games when they travel to Segunda B side Cornella.
After a poor start to the season which saw them lose to city rivals Atletico Madrid in the Supercopa before losing two of their opening three Primera Division games, Real have hit their stride and claimed a 3-1 victory over Barcelona in the first Clasico of the season on Saturday.
In the final training session before the game, Real coach Carlo Ancelotti, who has been nominated for the 2014 FIFA Best Manager award, called up Alvaro Medran, Raul de Tomas, Lucas Torro and Jaime from the reserve team to train with the first XI.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who was named La Liga's best player of last season at an awards ceremony on Monday night and was among six Real players to be nominated for the Ballon D'Or, was given the day off training.
In Wednesday's other match in the round of 32, Sevilla boss Unai Emery is ready to give younger players a chance when his side take on Segunda Division side Sabadell.
